All training is delivered via the TrainingPeaks ® platform. Benefits of TrainingPeaks ® platform are that your watch (for compatible devices) can be linked with TrainingPeaks®, which enables all your training sessions to be downloaded to your watch. All you need to do is simply start the session on your watch and your watch will guide you through the specific session for that day, advising when to warm-up, cool-down, when to run, when to rest, etc and lapping automatically when each section of the training session has been completed. This allows you to purely focus on your training as opposed to worrying about when to lap, how far you have run and so forth. Additional benefits ability to see the sessions in advance and the time required to complete each session which will assist in planning your training according to your daily commitments. Sessions are colour coded according to completion – green for completed, orange for partly completed and red for not completed. This useful to see how you are adhering to the training. Daily emails are provided each morning informing you of the required session for the day

Training Manual will be included with all programs purchased which will assist with:

  • What the key goals and adaptations of the training plan
  • Indication of weekly volume and intensity involved
  • Key terminology and tips
  • % VO2 Max pace calculator to assist with training paces

Annual Training Plan – athlete and coach go through the training calendar and select key races or events to focus on. All training is planned around these key events and assists when to focus on base, building, tapering & recovery weeks. The athlete will know which training cycle they are in and what the key focus is for each week and upcoming weeks

Athlete Profile Assessment – includes various tests to determine where the athletes key strengths and weaknesses lie, how these relate to the key selected distances/events that the athlete is targeting, training sessions are then programmed towards improving on weaknesses &/or improving the key adaptations needed for targeted distances/events

Health & Nutrition Coaching – entails guidance and advice on additional lifestyle factors (such as sleep, nutrition, weight-loss efforts, stress, etc) that can further contribute to improved performance. Not paying sufficient or correct attention to these lifestyle/health factors can easily derail training efforts.

Limited Email – the athlete can contact the coach via email (1x per month) with questions/queries/advice relating to their training program – this applies to Bronze and Silver services
